Approach

Issues of equity in education are often the underlying cause for minority students not having access to a quality education that supports their goals and aspirations post secondary. Our approach to dismantle this construct is as follows:

  • Collaboration with communities to ensure that the strategic plan is inclusive of multiple voices to bring to fruition a specified stated mission.

  • Research based solutions that are rooted in equity and social justice that are methodical about addressing the individual needs of students.

  • Culturally responsive teaching and curriculum that promotes the culture and socioemotional needs of students.

  • Ethical practices that are student centered and focus on the whole student.
